CFC - Mixed Martial Arts - Fight Night VI - Eliminator
CFC is proud to announce that Cage Fighting Championship 6 “Eliminator” will take place on Friday November 7th 2008 at Luna Park’s, Big Top Stadium. The headline fight sees Shane Nix return to fight Brian ‘Bad Boy’ Ebersole in his first defense of his welterweight title.

Also on the night is the second Lightweight title final, which will be decided in the first ever four man eliminator. CFC have gathered the four best fighters in the country under 70kg to compete in the eliminator. They are Bernardo Trekko, Rob Hill, Adrian Pang and Ian Schaffa and you can bet that all guns will be blazing as they make their way to the final.

The Main Event fight has the recently crowned Welterweight Champion Shane Nix, returning to defend his title against “Bad Boy” Brian Ebersole. The undefeated Shane Nix will have his hands full attempting to keep his record intact and retain his belt when he faces Brian, who took Hector Lombard to the fourth round in the Middleweight title fight on CFC 5 “Showdown”.

Undercard lineup includes: Anthony Perosh and Jamie Te Huna taking on international opponents, “Tazzie Devil” Priscus Fogagnolo Vs Gordan Graf plus Kian ‘Carnage’ Pham and more.

Anthony Perosh was forced into hospital with a staph infection days before his scheduled match in CFC 4, returns ready to fight the first of two Team Quest U.S.A representatives Bryan Harper. Anthony a two time UFC veteran and is no stranger to fighting internationals, both men Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts, Harpers record stands at 5-2 (win-loss) and coached by Dan Henderson former Pride Middleweight and Light Heavyweight champion Bryan comes very prepared.

Jamie Te Huna makes his CFC debut against Frenchman Antony Rea, Team Quest second representative. Jamie disappointed at the retire of Todd Medina minutes before their scheduled bout at CFC 5 is eager to show he is one of the best fighters in the country and will have his hands full with a formidable opponent in Rea who has a 15-10 (win-loss) against opponents such as Vitor Belfort, Marvin Eastman and Rich Franklin to name a few.

With shows recently aired on Fox sports and Fuel TV, CFC has again raised the bar in Australian MMA.
